PROJECT LIV x YOUR HOSPITAL
This page is intended for healthcare professionals and hospital departments who wish to collaborate with Project Liv or learn more about how our efforts can support long-term ill children in your care.
Project Liv in healthcare
At Project Liv, we work closely with healthcare professionals to bring light into challenging days – for children, families, and the staff themselves. Our support is flexible and always tailored to real needs, whether it's small moments of joy or fulfilling bigger life dreams.
Delivery of LIV Kits:
We send different types of LIV Kits free of charge to children’s and youth wards, psychiatric units, emergency departments, and care institutions throughout Finland. The kits are a physical expression of care – a way to show that someone sees, cares, and wants to help.
Ambulance dogs, knitted socks, and craft kits:
We also deliver soft ambulance dogs, hand-knitted socks, and creative craft kits to children's wards and emergency rooms – small but meaningful items that can reduce anxiety and create a sense of safety.
Close collaboration with healthcare staff:
We listen to the needs of healthcare professionals and base our support on what is truly needed. It could be materials for hospital schools, snacks for a movie night, or items that help create a safe and positive atmosphere on the ward. Requests can be sent via email or by ordering directly from our webshop.
For ambulances:
We provide ambulances with our popular ambulance dogs and ceiling stickers – giving children something to focus on during transport. These small details can make a big difference in a stressful moment. Ambulance staff are welcome to order LIV dogs via the webshop or by emailing [email protected].
Nominate a child to a dream day:
Healthcare staff can also nominate a child or young person for a Dream Day – an experience centered around the child’s own wish. It might be a hotel stay, a day at the zoo, a private concert, or something else unique and meaningful to that child. Nominate to [email protected]
LIV Kit – thoughtful support in a tough everyday life
Colour, shape and safety – for children who are fighting
Project liv works to bring more joy, colour, and a sense of safety into hospital environments where long-term ill children spend time. Through our interior design, we want children to feel more at home, less afraid – and a little bit happier in an otherwise challenging daily life. We are already present in many children’s wards across Finland, and every space we create is unique – tailored to the needs of the children and the realities of the staff.

This is how it works:
1. Budget and Planning
We start by defining the budget. The hospital or care facility is responsible for the costs, and we assist with the interior design and implementation.
Step 2:
Design and Concept
Our graphic designer creates a design concept for the space. The goal is to make the room feel safe and inviting for both children and parents. We take into account colors, furniture, and details that can greatly influence how children experience the environment.
Step 3:
Purchasing and Implementation
Once the design is finalized, we order all necessary materials and furniture – such as wall decals, paint, and decorative elements. We ensure that everything is of high quality and child-friendly.
Vaihe 4:
Toteutus paikan päällä
Lopuksi tulemme paikan päälle toteuttamaan sisustuksen. Varmistamme, että kaikki on kohdallaan ja että tila saa sen kotoisan ja hoitavan tunnelman, jota tavoittelemme.
